Returning recently from holidays I opened my front door and what did I notice? how solid, clean and beautiful my floorboards felt beneath my feet. If you had asked me earlier what I would notice most when I came home it would not have been my floorboards! When we open a door, have a conversation, participate in an activity with no expectations but a listening to our heart we do not know what we will feel. How great to be able to surprise ourselves.
When I woke this morning what I noticed first was that my bed felt the wrong way round. An interesting observation on the first day of the New Year. I wonder what I will notice first tomorrow? What have you noticed today?
