In less than 3 weeks I will be turning 50. With this has come some changes. I am leaving VITA where I have been doing contract work for almost 10 years, since I graduated as a Psychologist. Although I have branched out a little bit over the last few years, this is a big step. Aside from some sessional work at headspace I am now fully responsible for my clinical direction. This feels wonderful, a touch scary, but wonderful.
My mantra for this change has been 'open'. Be open to everything and be aware of gentle signs as to what direction is right for me. As I made the decision to close one door I have had many others open. In the last few weeks I have new people come into my life who have brought positivity and possibilities. I feel that I have stopped sailing into a headwind but am steering the ship to move with the wind. Kim Dunn Psychologist Comments are closed.
